About

Viola Browser is a WebView-based Android web browser. The goal is to create a browser that embodies the beauty and functionality of most mainstream browsers, while making it as lightweight as possible. It was originally called Browservio and has been in active development since 2020.

Viola Browser currently requires at least API Level 14, and is 2.2 MiB in size.

This project is currently in maintenance mode!

For the moment, no more feature updates will be provided. However, important security or functionality breakage issues will be worked on. Users are free to contribute to the project by submitting merge requests to the GitLab source code.
